This benefit pays once per year, per covered person and is paid directly to you regardless of actual out-of-pocket expenses. Covered tests include, but is not limited to:

GAP Rider

CoreAssistSMis a supplemental medical expense rider (“GAP Rider”) attached to our Group Hospital Indemnity Insurance.  It provides benefits to help mitigate out-of-pocket medical expenses associated with covered events under a primary major medical insurance plan.   

  • Crafted to align with the deductible and co-insurance exposure that an underlying major medical plan can provide.  
  • Operates by ‘syncing’ with the employee’s primary medical insurance and outside medical third-party administrators,providing coverage for initial costs such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance.   
  • Aims to alleviatefinancial burdens related to healthcare.
