Raquel Fuentes

Raquel joined AFBA and 5Star Life in 2013 and has 25 years of experience in marketing and communications. She is responsible for creating strategies that raise the profile of the enterprise, support membership and policyholder growth, and help advance our mission. Before joining our team, she spent 10 years at ULLICO, a financial services company, where she managed direct marketing programs, events, communications, branding and website initiatives. She began her career at Allstate leading a team that supported 1,000 agents with multicultural marketing and sales communications. Raquel received her bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Florida Atlantic University and holds a master’s degree in PR and corporate communications from Georgetown University.
